for this Photo Shoot - unlike our originally
scheduled March date

...today, the flags of Cowtown Vettes and
Texas Motor Speedway came together, for
the historic occasion to take the
35th Anniversary Photo for Cowtown Vettes |
 |

|
several of us started
around 9:00 am; working on laying out the grid for the
number of Vettes that had RSVP'd |
 |
 |
The original layout had fewer Vettes the parking lot width
proved to be too small - so we had to move further from
the Speedway Club building |

As we made the location and spacing adjustment in the
photo grid, the Vettes started arriving |
 |
|
|
|
|
 |
...with the cones in place to mark the boundary along with
a few Vettes in place, it was time to go airborne to see
if the composition looked correct for the photo |
 |
|
|
|
|
|
 |
Harry Rumzek, Bob Morrison, Red & Barb Greenfeder,
Don Wells, Rick Garabedian, Walt Zschirnt and others
helped to start filling in the grid based off the
generation / color layout - which had been generated from
the RSVPs |

the '09 ZR1 arrived |

 |
|
|
|
|
|
 |
...with several Members / Vettes that called and
cancelled at the last minute - a search for the correct
replacements was on.
There were 77 Vettes & 119
Member & Visitor Participants which had RSVP'd
In a quick count, it appears that we had 71 Vettes
& 102 Member & Visitor Participants |
