Walk Time has Arrived

Time for everyone to head to the starting line

Kristin had a few last words for the participants before the ribbon was cut

Billy The Kidney helped cut the ribbon to start the walk

...and the Walk (run if you wish) has STARTED

Down the hill, around the corner, under the bridge - a great place to walk

All-Star Teams had Support Signs along the walk route - Corvettes for NKF to the right ->

...did we say it was a beautiful day to be walking and supporting such a great cause

...you can make it - this is the LAST HILL to the FINISH LINE

After the Walk

a last minute thought to turn the Corvettes for NKF into a T-Shirt. It was offered to all that had registered for the walk by 3/12

All teams with T-Shirts were asked to bring one member up on stage

Corvettes for NKF ended up in a 3-way Tie for Best T-Shirt

Kristin recognized the "Top Donors" - teams and individuals

After the Event

Several of us enjoyed an after-walk lunch at Cheuy's in Ft Worth - VERY GOOD!!!

Grabbing cruiser points - one of the nicest Police & Firefighter Memorials we have seen
