We met at Veteran's Park in White Settlement
Time to visit while waiting on the Driver's Meeting ...if you could endure the cold morning

some even cleaned their Vettes before the cruise - NOT! Jo Anne & Raley even brought along one of their kids

There is a War Memorial at that site which works for cruiser points; war memorial and city - not to mention cruiser points for the cruise itself

Donald held the Driver's Meeting 9:45ish

...and the back met the front

Pit Stop #1 (un-planned) about 30 miles into the cruise

we were enjoying the curves however, I know we weren't going fast enough to cause this

Pit Stop #2 about 65 miles into the cruise

On down the back roads we head

we stopped at the courthouse in Strawn for some history & cruiser points

Jo Anne & Raley checking out a friend's business

we arrived at the Smokestack in Thurber, TX; approximately 115 miles from our start point.

There are direct routes and there are fun routes enjoying the back roads

Donald wanted a group photo so we kind-of lined them up in front of the historic smokestack

...and left them there while we went for lunch next door.

4x6 size

The Smokestack Restaurant in Thurber had a section setup for our group to enjoy lunch

Like the old saying goes, you just never know what you'll see along the way

a racing rig passing us

THE END
