Our Cowtown workers at the 2013 NASCAR
Besides the fun of being at the event, the worker
hours volunteered by these workers help to offset
the track rental for our September NCCC Event.
If you have an interest to give it a try next
November, contact our
TMS Coordinators.

Lawnmower Races -
The Lone
Star Mower Racing Association (LSMRA) was formed in
1998 as a Chapter of the United States Lawn Mower Racing
Association (USLMRA). Lawn mower racing originated in
England. The basic concept is: First: Remove the blades
from a lawn mower. Second: Build the mower according
to the Rules and Regulations of the USLMRA . Third: Go
fast and try to stay in front of all of the other racers.
Races begin with Hot Laps. Each class of racers makes five
(5) laps to get a feel for the track. Immediately
following Hot Laps, the races begin. They begin with the
Heat, which is the qualifying race for placement in the
Feature Race. After the Heat, a short intermission follows
to allow time to determine the line-up of the Feature
Race. The Feature Race is twenty (20) laps per class.
