Motorsports Park "Eye Candy"
The 2014 Corvette, including the Z06 (some with the Z07 package) were on display at MSP

Across the Road at the National Corvette Museum

a short bus/shuttle ride took us from the MSP to the NCM
Dick Coupe's Chaparral Grand Sport - recently donated to the museum

As a true Corvette Enthusiast I couldn't agree more!

and of course they had the current Corvette Raffle cars on display

and the famous NCM sink hole, where 8 special Corvettes lost their life on February 12, 2014

Glad they will be filling it up and moving on!

The 1991 ZZR1 Spider was always one of my favorite Vettes to look at when we visited the museum

22 additional photos

They have moved the one-and-only '83 back into the dome
Possibly my last photo with the NCCC KiOSK that I manage as the NCCC Director of Public Relations

The Museum was busy but not the busiest I've ever seen it.

They did have a couple of special displays

one featuring Facebook friend Doug MacDonald's '63 Grand Sport replica

Then the other blue Corvette captured Glenda's fancy, the 2015 Z06 Convertible complete with the Z07 Package

The Z06 Cut-away Vette

Heading out of the museum back to the shuttle bus to get on the road - still lots of people coming into the museum

As we departed the NCM on the bus, back for the MSP thru the back route - a unique view I haven't seen since 2003.

With dreams of owning a C2 being a very far out reach affordably, maybe this would be an option?

riding the shuttle bus from the NCM back to the MSP where our Vette was parked

We loaded up in the Grand Sport and headed out to the interstate

The big MSP celebration was over so we hit the road for our drive to Savannah, GA for the remaining day of the NCCC Convention

THE END
