Monday 8/12
	Today's plans were to enjoy some fun days on a couple of very well known roads; a somewhat challenging one and a scenic one
		we headed out across the Fontana Dam before heading to the *Tail of the Dragon*


The *Tail of the Dragon, 318 Curves* (all named) in 11 miles - do the math!!!

	Doug lead the charge up the tail ...turn after turn, some banked from one to the other


	Along the route, there are multiple locations where Professional Photographers are positioned to catch YOUR action shots (like above)

		There was one section that had one lane washed out and there was a red-light for the temporary one-lane road

	Once up the *Tail of the Dragon, we stopped for a leg stretch and other necessities Glenda* led us back down the tail; there were 6 driver changes at the top so the former passenger could enjoy slaying the dragon

	After returning back down the *Tail of the Dragon, we stopped at the Deal's Gap Stores for souvenirs of "Slaying the Dragon*"

The *Dragon* has snatched many a motorcycle			The *Tree of Shame* didn't get any Vette parts

	we met a couple in a Carbon Fiber Z06 which helped us with group photos and we took theirs as well

we had lunch at Deal's Gap before loading back up			They even had "Green Man Ale" for anyone feeling a little wheezy
